Manchester United is finalizing the sale of forward to Ligue 1 club

Manchester United is finalizing the sale of forward Mason Greenwood to Ligue 1 club Olympique Marseille.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the forward and the French club have agreed on a contract until 2029.

The Olympians will pay around €30 million for the player. Manchester United will also have the right to 50% of any future resale value from June 2025 to June 2029.

The deal between the clubs is completed, with salary details, including bonuses, still being discussed.

Earlier reports suggested that Barcelona, Real Madrid, Valencia, and Atletico Madrid were interested in Greenwood, but none of them made an offer.

Last season, Greenwood had a successful loan spell at Getafe, scoring 10 goals and providing 6 assists in 36 matches across all competitions.
