Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood, currently on loan at Getafe, is no longer part of Barcelona's transfer targets.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, the reigning Spanish champions have definitively ruled out this option and shifted their focus to other targets.

Nevertheless, Manchester United is resolute in selling Greenwood and is actively seeking a buyer for him. It is known that the 22-year-old player is content in Spain and has no plans to return to England.

Recall that on the morning of January 30, 2022, social media carried reports that Greenwood assaulted model Harriet Robson. Manchester United released a statement that Greenwood was suspended from training and matches. On the same day, Greater Manchester Police arrested Greenwood on suspicion of assault and rape.

In February 2022, Greenwood was released on bail. A year later, the Crown Prosecution Service announced that all charges against Greenwood had been dropped due to the withdrawal of key witness statements and the emergence of new evidence.

In the current season, Greenwood has contributed with 8 goals and 5 assists in 26 matches across all competitions.
