Details: According to BBC Sport, 25-year-old Atlético Madrid and England central midfielder Conor Gallagher remains one of Manchester United's top targets for the winter transfer window.

Reports from Manchester suggest that signing Gallagher on a permanent deal in January will be extremely difficult, so the club is prepared to offer a six-month loan with an option to buy.
According to sources, Gallagher is among the seven midfielders shortlisted by Rúben Amorim's coaching staff as potential reinforcements.
This season, Gallagher has made 25 appearances for Los Colchoneros, scoring three goals and providing one assist. His current contract with Atlético runs until 2029, and his market value is estimated at €35 million by Transfermarkt.
