Manchester United has lost a full-back due to injury
On Friday, August 16, the new Premier League season will begin, with Manchester United facing Fulham in their opening match.
The Red Devils have announced that full-back Luke Shaw will miss the early part of the Premier League season due to a shin injury sustained at the start of preseason preparations. The Englishman is currently focusing on his rehabilitation to be available after the first international break.
Additionally, new sporting director of the "Red Devils," Dan Ashworth, has made it clear to the team's midfielder Bruno Fernandes that, despite interest from top clubs, Manchester United has no intention of letting him go.
It is also worth noting that while Ugarte and Manchester United agreed on personal terms several weeks ago, negotiations between the clubs have not progressed as smoothly.
