Manchester United are keeping another Premier League defender on their radar as the transfer deadline approaches.

Details: According to the Daily Mirror, Manchester United are considering adding another centre-back before the summer transfer window closes, and Chelsea defender Tosin Adarabioyo has emerged as one of the options being discussed at Old Trafford.

The 28-year-old English centre-back remains a Chelsea player, but his future has become a talking point in the final days of the window. TalkSPORT has also reported that Manchester United have been offered the opportunity to sign Adarabioyo as they assess possible reinforcements in central defence.

United are still exploring the market before the deadline and could strengthen their back line if the right opportunity becomes available. At this stage, Adarabioyo is described as an option rather than a player for whom a completed agreement has already been reached.

It is worth noting that Adarabioyo joined Chelsea on a free transfer in the summer of 2024. During the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, the centre-back made 16 league appearances, with injury problems limiting his involvement over the course of the season.
