Manchester United could buy back the midfielder, who played last season on loan for them
The transfer of a new defensive midfielder remains a priority for Manchester United in the summer transfer window.
The Red Devils might sign a player with whom the team and the head coach are already well acquainted. This refers to Sofyan Amrabat, who spent last season on loan at Manchester United from Fiorentina.
Erik ten Hag is pleased with the level of performance the Moroccan footballer displayed throughout the season and wants to work with him again. The club is currently working on finding the ideal formula for the transfer.
Amrabat is also interested in playing for Manchester United once more.
Last season, the 27-year-old Moroccan defensive midfielder played 30 matches for Erik ten Hag's team, though he did not contribute any goals or assists.
It was also revealed yesterday that Manchester United is interested in Burnley's central midfielder Sander Berge.
