In 2024, Jim Ratcliffe acquired a stake in Manchester United, but since then, his fortune has seen a significant drop.
Details: According to The Times, the billionaire has lost over eight billion euros in the past year. His net worth has decreased from $31 billion to $22.5 billion.
Previously, we reported that Manchester United refused to pay for staff travel to a match that could secure the team’s return to the UEFA Champions League. Instead, employees were offered vouchers to dine at one of Manchester’s venues.
At the same time, Rúben Amorim is planning to pay for tickets to the final, including travel for low-paid workers.
