Manchester United co-owner wants to buy an Indian cricket club
One of Manchester United’s co-owners is planning to enter a new market and a new sport, expanding his interests beyond football.
Details: According to The Week, Avram Glazer, one of Manchester United’s co-owners, has submitted a bid of $1.8 billion for the Indian cricket club Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Notably, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the Indian Premier League cricket title in June 2025, defeating their opponents by six runs in the final.
Reminder: Pakistan’s national cricket team will not take the field for the group-stage match against India at the ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2026. However, the official statement did not specify the exact reasons for this decision.
Additionally, the International Cricket Council (ICC) carefully reviewed the situation surrounding Pakistan’s boycott of the T20 Cricket World Cup in India and took decisive disciplinary measures.
