Manchester United close to signing Manu Kone from Roma
Manchester United are showing strong interest in Roma’s French midfielder Manu Kone and have already entered into talks with the player.
Details: Journalist Francesca Teodori stated on ASRomaLive on Twitch that Kone is very keen on a move to Manchester United, with the transfer likely to go through in June.
Previously, the midfielder had also been linked with Newcastle, but his current priority remains Manchester. It’s still unclear whether Kone will be included in the deal for Zirkzee or if it will be a separate transfer.
It is reported that both parties are still negotiating the terms of the deal, and the club has the resources to successfully complete the transfer.
It’s worth noting that this season, the Frenchman has made 21 appearances for Roma across all competitions, registering one assist. Transfermarkt values Kone at €50 million.
Reminder: Manchester United are ready to let striker Joshua Zirkzee join Roma, but only on a permanent deal.
