Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips has found it difficult to adapt to the football of Pep Guardiola's team, and the player is not being counted on at the Etihad going forward.
The 28-year-old midfielder spent the end of the current season on loan at West Ham, which was not entirely successful for the player himself, and, according to Sky Sports, the reigning English champions intend to loan Phillips out again.
It was thought that the midfielder could return to Leeds, from whom he joined Manchester City in 2022, but the fact that the team failed to return to the Premier League will make the deal somewhat difficult, something Everton could take advantage of.
Sean Dyche's team are interested in getting the player, but on what basis it will happen: permanent or on loan, the source does not specify.
Despite being one of the stars of England's Euro 2020 squad, Phillips lost his place in Gareth Southgate's squad and was not included in the 33-man provisional list for Euro 2024
