Manchester City’s future manager is already working on the club’s transfers
Legendary Spanish manager Pep Guardiola has decided to step down at the end of the season, and his successor is already known, with preparations for the new era now underway behind the scenes.
Details: According to David Ornstein, Enzo Maresca has already started working on Manchester City’s transfer plans even before his official appointment. He is currently collaborating with sporting director Hugo Viana as the club prepares for Guardiola’s expected departure.
We recently reported that Maresca is set to replace Guardiola as head coach of Manchester City and will sign a three-year contract. All terms have already been agreed, with only the formal signing still pending.
Reminder: Bernardo Silva is also expected to leave Manchester City at the end of the season, with the Portuguese playmaker now facing a major decision over the next chapter of his career.
