According to information from The Athletic, Manchester City has reached an agreement to sign left-winger Cavan Sullivan from the Philadelphia Union.

The deal is valued at $2.1 million, with the potential to increase to $5 million with bonuses. The 14-year-old American will be able to join Manchester City no earlier than January 2028, when he turns 18.

However, by the time Sullivan reaches adulthood, he will have the option to move to other clubs within the City Football Group structure, thanks to his possession of a German passport.

Although the winger has yet to make his debut for the Philadelphia Union's senior team, Manchester City hopes that this could happen as early as age 15.

Manchester City believes in Sullivan's potential as one of the best talents of his generation but advises caution in promoting his name.
