Manchester City wants to sign Newcastle defender Tino Livramento
Manchester City is planning a major defensive reinforcement in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Details: According to journalist Alex Crook, the main target for the Citizens is England and Newcastle defender Tino Livramento. The club’s management considers the 23-year-old the ideal long-term candidate for the right-back position.
Newcastle, meanwhile, is well aware of the threat and is already making moves to secure their asset. The Tyneside club has offered Livramento a new long-term contract with improved terms. However, the player himself is not rushing to tie his future to the Magpies just yet. Tino has so far refrained from signing the deal.
Notably, this season Livramento has made nineteen appearances for the club across all competitions, providing one assist. Transfermarkt values him at €40 million.
