Ouédraogo could be on the move as early as next summer.

Details: According to renowned journalist and insider Florian Plettenberg, London’s Chelsea and Manchester City are seriously preparing to battle it out for the signature of 19-year-old RB Leipzig striker Assan Ouédraogo.

This season, Ouédraogo has featured in 12 matches for Leipzig, netting 3 goals and providing 4 assists. The 19-year-old German’s electric and productive performances have not gone unnoticed by Pep Guardiola and Enzo Maresca, both eager to lure the attacker into their squads.

Ouédraogo’s current contract with Leipzig runs until 2029, but it does not include a release clause. The player himself is not considering a move during the winter transfer window, as he is focused on making Germany’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.

Ouédraogo joined Leipzig from Schalke in 2024 for €10 million. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €10 million.
