Manchester City and Argentina forward Julian Alvarez has made a final decision about his future.

According to The Athletic, Alvarez has informed Manchester City management that he plans to leave the club this summer. Additionally, he intends to leave England due to his family’s dissatisfaction with the local climate.

Manchester City has accepted his position and is ready to sell him for €70 million plus bonuses. The English champions are now awaiting offers from other clubs.

Alvarez is also unhappy with his playing time at Manchester City, as he struggles to secure a spot in the starting lineup due to competition with Erling Haaland.

Previously, it was reported that Atletico Madrid is interested in Alvarez, seeing him as an ideal replacement for Memphis Depay.

Last season, Alvarez appeared in 36 Premier League matches, scoring 11 goals and providing 9 assists. In the 2024 Copa America, which Argentina won, the Man City forward played in 5 matches and scored 2 goals.
