Manchester City midfielder Rodri, who is recovering from an ACL injury, took some time off to enjoy an evening with his girlfriend, Laura Iglesias, at an NBA game in Paris, Daily Mail reports.
The Spanish footballer attended the game between the Indiana Pacers and San Antonio Spurs. It was Rodri’s first-ever experience watching an NBA game live, which he shared in a brief interview published by the NBA’s official account on X.
Rodri appeared in high spirits, smiling for photos with his girlfriend, former Spanish basketball star Pau Gasol, and Norwegian footballer Ada Hegerberg.
It’s worth noting that Manchester City recently faced Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League in a dramatic encounter. Despite leading 2-0, City conceded four goals and lost the match, significantly complicating their chances of advancing to the knockout stage ahead of the final group game.
