According to The Telegraph, the club doesn’t rule out the possibility that Grealish could even miss the upcoming Club World Cup if both parties decide that parting ways is the best solution. After the final, Guardiola noted he hadn’t yet discussed Grealish’s future, but confirmed it will be a topic of conversation with the club’s hierarchy in the coming weeks.
The situation escalated after Grealish was reportedly the last to leave Kevin De Bruyne’s farewell party at 1:35 a.m.—just days before a crucial fixture. Some sources believe this lack of discipline may have influenced Pep Guardiola’s decision to drop him from the squad.
