Manchester City has made up its mind regarding midfielder Rodri's future and has no intention of letting the player go, despite interest from Real Madrid.
According to insider Nicolò Schira, Citizens' head coach Pep Guardiola considers the Spanish holding midfielder a key element of his team. That's precisely why the club does not plan to entertain any transfer offers for the player.
As a reminder, Rodri joined City in 2019 from Atlético Madrid for €70 million. In 2024, the midfielder claimed the Ballon d'Or. This season, the Spaniard has played 24 matches for the club across all competitions, scoring twice. His contract with the English side runs until June 30, 2027.
