Manchester City have found a replacement for their leader in the Bundesliga

Manchester City appears to have identified a potential replacement for Kevin De Bruyne in case he decides to leave the club. While Pep Guardiola undoubtedly wants to keep De Bruyne, City is unlikely to block their highest-paid star's departure and may decide to sell him this summer to avoid losing him for free in 2025.

Should this happen, the "Citizens" are likely to target Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala as his replacement. The 21-year-old has made significant progress over the past two seasons and showcased impressive form at Euro 2024, scoring three goals for Germany.

According to Christian Falk, the Premier League champions could take advantage of the uncertainty and persuade Musiala to join them.

"Manchester City is considering trying to sign him as Kevin De Bruyne's successor. I don't know if the Belgian will leave this summer or next, but De Bruyne's time at Manchester City is nearing its end. Musiala grew up in England, and I believe he has always followed the Premier League, so Bayern has reason to be concerned."
