Manchester City traveled to face Nottingham Forest in the 35th round of the English Premier League.

The teams went into halftime with City holding a narrow lead. Josko Gvardiol opened the scoring for the visitors in the 32nd minute, following a pass from Kevin De Bruyne.

It's worth noting that the hosts created several opportunities to score but failed to capitalize. In particular, Chris Wood and Murillo missed excellent chances.

At the start of the second half, Nottingham failed to convert several more chances, for which they were punished. In the 71st minute, Erling Haaland calmly finished in the Forest penalty area and beat the goalkeeper. De Bruyne recorded his second assist of the match.

As a result, Pep Guardiola's team amassed 79 points and trails Arsenal by one point, with City having played one match less. On May 5th, City will face Wolves.
