Manchester City star Ruben Dias is making the most of his short break, soaking up the sun on a yacht. The Portuguese defender set sail with his girlfriend Maya Jama, who shared snapshots of their glamorous escape on her Instagram page.

Maya treated fans to a series of stunning photos from their romantic yacht holiday, with Dias seen by her side in one of the shots. According to the geotag, the couple is currently relaxing in Positano, along Italy's picturesque Amalfi Coast.

Rumors about their relationship had been swirling for quite some time, though the pair kept things under wraps publicly. Reports indicated that Dias and Jama rang in the New Year together in Ibiza, and later Maya was spotted cheering him on at matches. She even revealed she has started learning Portuguese.

It's worth noting that Ruben Dias endured a tough campaign with Manchester City this season, failing to secure any silverware. The Citizens will look to turn things around and chase a trophy at the FIFA Club World Cup, which kicks off on June 15.

Dias featured in 41 matches across all competitions for City this season, but didn't register a single goal or assist.
