In the 29th round of the English Premier League, Manchester City hosts Brighton at their home ground.

At halftime, the teams went into the break with a score of 2-1 in favor of the hosts. Notably, almost every goal was interesting from a statistical standpoint.

First, Haaland set an absolute Premier League record by achieving 100 goal contributions in 94 matches. The goal conceded by Ortega marked the 39th goal allowed by the "Citizens" in the current EPL season. The statistical portal Squawka notes that Man City has already matched their worst defensive record under Guardiola.

In the 2016/17 season, the "Citizens" conceded 39 goals in 38 matches and ultimately finished third, 15 points behind Chelsea.
