Man United are upping the ante for the Everton defender. Will ten Hag manage to secure a transfer?

Manchester United are not abandoning their attempts to sign Everton defender Jarrad Branthwaite and have sent another transfer request to the Liverpool club's office, which the Toffees have already considered.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils offered for 22-year-old defender 45 million pounds and five million in the same currency bonuses. But, such a sum did not suit Everton, and they rejected the offer on Monday night as soon as it arrived.
It is believed that the cheque offered by Manchester United is a far cry from the Toffees' valuation, as the Liverpool club financially equate Branthwaite with top defenders like Josko Gvardiol.
Earlier, the Mancunians made it clear that Everton need to curb their appetite to sell the 22-year-old defender. It is also known that Manchester United may include Harry Maguire in the deal for Branthwaite.
