Man City plans animated series featuring Haaland to attract younger fans
Manchester City aims to capture the hearts of young supporters by engaging children through creative initiatives. According to Daily Mail, the club is launching an ambitious project that includes the development of children’s TV programs.
Currently, two shows tailored for kids are already in the works. While specific details remain under wraps, it appears the club plans to create animated series starring its football icons, such as Erling Haaland.
"We have a lot of ideas that we are developing. They are not in the air, we are working on several fictional TV shows. We are working on shows for kids and we have a list of projects that we are excited about," said City’s CEO Ferran Soriano.
The club hopes that by producing animated stories, it can captivate the imagination of children and teenagers, turning them into lifelong Manchester City fans.
City has long been involved in producing documentaries about the club’s inner workings, covering everything from season reviews to in-depth features on individual players. Now, the focus is shifting to untapped markets and new audiences.
It’s worth noting that Manchester City has clinched four English Premier League titles in the last five seasons, cementing its status as one of the top football clubs in the world.
