Agüero will be among the celebrities taking part in the upcoming Evo Sessions of Formula E. This special event will allow 11 famous figures to get behind the wheel of the GEN3 Evo—the world’s fastest electric race car. The vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 96 km/h in just 1.82 seconds, making it 30% faster than a Formula 1 car.
Alongside Agüero, Brooklyn Beckham, son of football legend David Beckham, will also participate in the event.
To prepare for the race in Miami on March 5-6, the celebrity drivers will undergo six weeks of intensive training. Their preparation will include physical conditioning, technical briefings, driver coaching, equipment setup, and simulator sessions.
A full-length documentary about the Evo Sessions is also in production and is set to be released later this year.
Agüero has long been a motorsport enthusiast. He has attended Formula 1 Grand Prix races and even competed in virtual Grand Prix events alongside F1 stars during the 2020 lockdown.
