Man City have found a replacement for Alvarez in a far from strong team

Manchester City have officially said goodbye to Julian Alvarez, who has moved to Atletico Madrid. But his place will not be empty for long, as Pep Guardiola has already decided who will replace the Argentine.
According to The Athletic, there are two such players: 29-year-old Japanese Kyogo Furuhashi, who represents Celtic, as well as another young unnamed player.
It is believed that it will not be difficult to agree personal terms with the representative of the Scottish grandee, and if he expresses his desire to join Manchester City, it will be done very easily.
But for now, all the attention of the City bosses is focused on the deal for Barcelona midfielder Ilkay Gundogan, and until he is signed, the issue of a new forward has been pushed to the back burner.
Only after the German's transfer is finalised will Manchester City return to the striker issue, but the club have yet to decide whether they need to pursue the signing of a new striker at all.
