Mamelodi Sundowns Investigates Ladies Team Coach Jerry Shabalala Over Allegations of Improper Sexual Conduct

Mamelodi Sundowns have initiated an investigation into allegations of improper sexual conduct against their ladies’ team coach, Jerry Shabalala.

The club issued a statement confirming that reports of allegations from several women have been received. Sundowns has engaged leading law firm Bowmans to conduct a thorough investigation and report findings to the board

“These allegations are taken very seriously. Coach Jerry Shabalala has been placed on special leave, not as a presumption of guilt but to allow the investigation to proceed without hindrance and ensure the rights of all parties are respected,” the statement said.

Shabalala, a celebrated coach, has led Sundowns Ladies to multiple honors, including two CAF Champions League titles and five Hollywoodbets Super League gold medals. The club has assured action will follow if the investigation substantiates the allegations.
