Mamelodi Sundowns have confirmed the departure of striker Peter Shalulile.

The Caf Champions League champions disclosed Shalulile leaves their ranks today after so much speculation on the Namibian striker.

Shalulile is one of the leading PSL strikers as he is also one of the leading scorers with 129 goals alongside South African legend Siyabonga Nomvethe.

"From unforgettable finishes to iconic celebrations, Peter Shalulile gave the Yellow Nation memories that will live on for years to come," the club said in a statement.

"As we bid Sha Sha farewell, let's show him love as one of the best strikers in Mamelodi Sundowns history."

It is not clear where the speedy marksman will go but he is heavily linked with a move to Libyan side, Al-Ittihad.
