Mamelodi Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso on midfielder Tsiki Ntsabeleng: He is a player of great quality and he is slowly showing that he has quality

Miguel Cardoso has showered nothing but praise on midfielder Tsiki Ntsabeleng.

The Mamelodi Sundowns coach was pleased by the player’s showing last night when he netted the winner at Chatsworth Stadium against Durban City in a Betway Premiership clash.

Ntsabeleng’s goal in Kwa-Zulu Natal ensured Sundowns consolidated their lead atop of the PSL standings as they are now on 56 while second placed Orlando Pirates have 54.

“Tsiki we knew he’s a player with quality,” said Cardoso of Ntsabeleng.

“He has to adapt to our way of playing and also he had to wait for the opportunity. And in the absence of other players of course he got the chance he did well.

“He’s been training very consistently. I really praise the boy for the attitude that he has. Since January when we restarted the season he came on the right spot, the right position mentally.

“And God protects the ones that dare to do and he’s doing well. And for sure we will need him for the future for sure.”

This weekend the Brazilians shift their focus to the Caf Champions League semi-final first leg against Esperance away from home.

The game is on Sunday evening.
