Today, Manchester United will face Bodo/Glimt at home in the 5th round of the UEFA Europa League. For one of the Red Devils players, this will be a special match.

Details: Left-back Tyrell Malacia has been named to the starting lineup for Manchester United, marking his return after a long spell out due to a knee injury.

It may be hard to believe, but this marks Malacia's first start for the club in 551 days.

The last time Malacia started for United was on May 28, 2023, against Fulham. He did not play a single match in the previous season.

Additionally, the match against Bodo/Glimt will be the first home game for United's new head coach Ruben Amorim.

Reminder: It was recently revealed how much Manchester United paid for the dismissal of Erik ten Hag and his coaching staff.
