Magesi FC's Allan Free on collecting three points out of a possible 12: I think I should be fired by now for that number of points collected
Allan Freese does not believe he is still in charge of Magesi FC.
The former Platinum Stars coach said his record of three draws and one defeat in charge of the Polokwane-based team warrants the powers that be at the club to show him the exit door.
This means he has collected three out of a possible 12 pints in his tenure as the Dikwena Tsa Metsi gaffer.
Magesi FC are still at the basement of the PSL standings with a mere 14 points and Freese’s chief aim when he was brought in, is to steer them away from the relegation quagmire.
So far that has not been the case as they drew 2-2 against Chippa United yesterday at Seshego Stadium.
You can give credit to them on that match as they fought back from two goals down.
“Well, my job was to motivate the players and help them get to another level, which I’m doing, as you can see,” said Freese.
“Yes, the fact that we haven’t won games in so many matches isn’t good. Okay, today was my fourth game, so four games and three points—not good, hey? Not good at all. Out of a possible 12 points, we got three, so I’m supposed to be fired.”
They play Kaizer Chiefs next weekend and Freese may believe he is still in charge.
