Maduka Okoye Named Udinese MVP After Impressive Serie A Season
Maduka Okoye has been named Most Valuable Player at Udinese Calcio after an outstanding Serie A campaign.
The Nigerian goalkeeper earned the award following a series of impressive performances for the Italian club throughout the season.
Despite missing the opening two months of the campaign due to suspension over an alleged match-fixing investigation, Okoye bounced back strongly to reclaim his place as Udinese’s first-choice goalkeeper.
The 26-year-old produced standout displays against top sides including Juventus and AC Milan, finishing the season with 10 clean sheets in 29 league appearances.
