This evening, Tunisian side Esperance and Egyptian giants Al Ahly will face off in the first leg of the CAF Champions League quarter-finals. But the intensity of this showdown reached fever pitch a full day before kick-off.

The Esperance ultras packed the stands at the training ground, unleashing a massive pyrotechnic display. Thousands of flares, clouds of smoke, and thunderous chants created a final-like atmosphere before the teams had even set foot on the pitch. Esperance players trained literally surrounded by a ring of fire and fanatical passion.
