Mabhudi Khenyeza’s announcement as the new Black Leopards coach is imminent.

The former Golden Arrows striker left his post as coach Komani United in the ABC Motsepe League for the vacant post at Lidoda Duvha.

Leopards are on the 14th place on the NFD standings with nine points after 10 matches.

Masutha’s exit was after the 1-0 loss to Cape Town City on Sunday at Thohoyandou Stadium was their fifth in this campaign.

Khenyeza will have to wait for more than a week to see be in charge of his first match for Leopards as it’s the international break this weekend, with NFD matches resuming next week.

Leopards will face Vhenda Football Academy in the first match after the Fifa break.

It will be interesting to see if Khenyeza can manage to pull Leopards out of the relegation quagmire.
