Lunin will become the main goalkeeper of Real Madrid
Real Madrid head coach Carlo Ancelotti has made a choice between goalkeepers Kepa Arrisbalaga and Andriy Lunin in favour of the Ukrainian.
Ancelotti sees no point in bringing Lunin back to the bench, as the Ukrainian has become stronger. He has a much better save percentage than Kepa (86 - 77%). It is noted that Andriy feels more confident than last season.
Earlier, the Italian thought that Kepa should be the main man in the absence of the injured Thibaut Courtois, but at the moment he has changed his decision. The match against Betis was a turning point.
AS believes the downside for Andriy could be his lack of experience in the Champions League play-offs, where everything is at stake.
Lunin has played 8 matches for Real Madrid this season, in which he conceded 5 goals and scored 4 times. Real signed the Ukrainian goalkeeper from Luhansk Zorya in the summer of 2018.
