Raphaël Varane announced his retirement earlier this season following another serious injury. However, the Frenchman hasn’t forgotten his passion for the beautiful game.

Details: On his Instagram page, the former center-back shared photos from the Coupe de France match between Lens and PSG. Blending in with the fans, he tried to stay incognito, covering his face with a Lens scarf.

He captioned the two photos: "Love football, emotions. That’s what it’s all about."

Notably, Lens is where Varane’s professional journey began. On November 6, 2010, he was called up to the Lens first team for a match against Montpellier.

After training with the team all week and stepping in for injured center-back Alaeddine Yahia, Varane started the match in the lineup.

Reminder: Varane's last club was Italy's Como, who didn't even register him for the Serie A season due to injury, while his CV also includes Lens, Real Madrid and Manchester United.
