Looking to the future! Manchester City reach agreement with team star on new contract

Details: According to renowned and highly respected journalist and insider David Ornstein, posting on his social media page X, Manchester City’s management has reached an agreement with the team’s 25-year-old attacking midfielder Phil Foden on a new contract.

Reports indicate that Foden’s new deal will run until 2030 and will also include an option to extend for an additional year. Foden will also receive improved financial terms. At this stage, only final details remain to be ironed out before the new contract is officially announced.

This season, Foden has made 46 appearances for City, scoring 10 goals and providing 5 assists.

Foden’s current contract with City is valid until 2027, and his transfer value is estimated at €80 million by Transfermarkt.
