The management of Borussia Dortmund is keen on retaining Jadon Sancho in the team for at least the upcoming season.

According to BBC reports, at this stage, the German vice-champions are exploring ways to negotiate with Manchester United. From a financial standpoint, Borussia Dortmund cannot afford to buy out Sancho's contract, so the most likely scenario appears to be extending the loan for another year.

Sancho himself would like to continue playing for the Black and Yellows, hence he will request Manchester United's management to come to an agreement with them.

Earlier reports suggested that the "Red Devils" no longer count on Sancho and are ready to sell him during the summer transfer window.

Recall that Borussia Dortmund loaned Sancho until the end of the season. He previously played for the club from 2017 to 2021 before moving to Manchester United for 85 million euros.
