The young central midfielder Bobby Clark has left Liverpool on a permanent basis.

Red Bull Salzburg officially announced the transfer of the 19-year-old Englishman.

The Austrian club paid €11.8 million for Clark, who signed a five-year contract. The deal also includes a sell-on clause, ensuring Liverpool a percentage of the profit from any future sale of the player.

It’s worth noting that the new head coach of Red Bull Salzburg this season is Pep Lijnders, who was Jurgen Klopp's long-time assistant at Liverpool.

Clark made 14 appearances for Liverpool's first team, scoring 1 goal and providing 2 assists.

Yesterday, Red Bull Salzburg defeated Dynamo Kyiv 2-0 in the first leg of the Champions League playoff qualifiers.
