Liverpool set to strengthen defence with Juventus defender
One of the difficulties Arne Slot has had to face since taking over as Liverpool head coach is the need to significantly strengthen the defence. And this is starting to emerge at Anfield.
The Merseyside manager has decided to turn his sights to the Italian Championship and, according to Tutto Juve, he is interested in bringing in Juventus defender Gleison Bremer. Admittedly, a transfer would be far from cheap for any of the suitors for the 27-year-old Brazilian.
It is believed that Liverpool's offer would consist of 60 million euros, which would mean a significant increase in the price of the player. But, even for such money Thiago Motta is not ready to let go of the player around whom he would spend the reconstruction of the Juventus squad.
Recall that the 27-year-old defender moved to the Bianconeri in July 2022 from Torino for almost 45 million euros.
