The Reds aren't wasting any time in the transfer market and are ready to put a generous offer on the table.

Details: According to reputable source Football Insider, Brighton’s 21-year-old right winger Yankuba Minteh has become a highly sought-after target for Liverpool, who are reportedly ready to splash out £70 million for his signature.

Liverpool’s new head coach, Arne Slot, personally wants Minteh in his squad, having already worked with him during his tenure at Feyenoord. Minteh is being viewed as a full-fledged replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose future at Anfield remains uncertain.

Yankuba Minteh joined Brighton from Newcastle in the summer of 2024 for €35 million. Since then, the Gambian has featured in 49 matches, netting 8 goals and providing 8 assists.

His current contract with Brighton runs until 2029, and his market value, according to Transfermarkt, stands at €35 million.

Reminder: The streak is over! Liverpool fail to score in a Premier League match for the first time in 14 months
