Liverpool is highly pleased with the way forward Luis Díaz has started the new season, and the club is preparing to take an important step.
Details: Díaz’s current contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2027, but the club intends to extend it until the end of the 2029/30 season. Negotiations are expected to begin soon.
According to Football Insider, Díaz is happy at Liverpool and is ready to accept the offer of a new contract, despite rumors of interest from Barcelona.
Reminder: In case you missed it: Díaz has recorded five goals and one assist in the first five Premier League matches of the season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper Alisson will miss the next two matches due to injury.
