Liverpool midfielder names differences between Klopp and Slot
The summer saw a change of an entire era at Liverpool. Jürgen Klopp will not be the head coach for the first time in nine years, and he was replaced by Arne Slot. The players are now getting used to the new realities.
How this is happening - told Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott, who has picked up on the difference between the two managers:
"We have more possession of the ball now. The coaches have different styles of play and Slot has his own style now, which is possession and keeping the ball, one-touch and two-touch passes, but I'm not going to give details.
We are learning different roles and I think the important thing for us now is to get an understanding with each other and understand where we need to be in certain positions during games and in certain situations; that will come but it won't happen overnight," Elliott told The Times.
