Martin Škrtel, the legendary figure of both Liverpool and Slovak football, who retired several years ago, has now assumed his first administrative role.
Details: The former central defender has officially been appointed as the sporting director of the Slovak club, Dunajská Streda. The specifics of Škrtel’s contract with the club remain undisclosed.
The position of sporting director at Dunajská Streda had been vacant since August of this year.
Previously, Škrtel worked as a scout for Spartak Trnava.
Reminder: During his illustrious playing career, Škrtel also represented Fenerbahçe, Atalanta, and İstanbul Başakşehir, in addition to Liverpool.
