Liverpool leads the race for Bournemouth defender Huijsen

Liverpool is actively interested in Bournemouth defender Dean Huijsen, who is highly likely to "move up" this summer.

Details. According to Fichajes, Liverpool is leading the race for the transfer of the "Cherries" central defender.

Real Madrid is also interested in Huijsen, but it seems that the Merseyside club positions itself as his most likely next destination for the talented Spaniard. It is noted that the "Reds" are determined to do everything possible to win the race for the 19-year-old player.

Liverpool's activity in the battle for the defender is explained by the fact that he is considered a long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk, who has yet to extend his contract with the club.

Recall. It was previously reported that Liverpool is considering the possibility of purchasing Chelsea defender Colwill.
