Liverpool has lost a key first-team player for the crucial stage of the season due to another injury, as reported by insider Fabrizio Romano.

Liverpool's head coach, Jürgen Klopp, confirmed that the team's winger, Diogo Jota, has been injured. The Portuguese player will not return to action for at least two weeks.

The 27-year-old Portuguese footballer had only recently recovered from a knee ligament injury and had returned to the team. This season, Jota has scored 15 goals and provided 4 assists in 32 matches across all competitions.

Liverpool currently holds the second position in the Premier League. After 33 rounds, Jürgen Klopp's team has 74 points, but they have played one more match than Manchester City.

Klopp will leave Liverpool at the end of the season, and the club is actively searching for his successor. Earlier reports suggested that Liverpool has entered the race among top clubs to invite the coach of a French team.
