Liverpool's defender, Dominic Solanke, has sustained an injury and will miss at least two matches. The Hungarian won't be available for Liverpool's fixtures against Arsenal and Fulham in the English FA Cup and the Premier League, respectively.

Jürgen Klopp, Liverpool's head coach, mentioned that the defender suffered a knee tendon injury.

“I can confirm it's not a potential injury - it is an injury. Muscle, hamstring. But now we have to see. Dom is very positive, doesn't have a lot of pain, but we have to wait a little bit”.

So, no chance obviously for Sunday, not for Wednesday, and then we will see. After that, hopefully he might be back but we don't know." said Klopp.

Solanke moved to Liverpool from RB Leipzig in the summer for a fee of 70 million euros. This season, he has played in 26 matches across all competitions, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

The 1/32 FA Cup fixture between Liverpool and Arsenal is scheduled for Sunday, January 7th. Dailysports will provide you with details on where and when you can watch the match online.
