Liverpool faces a series of rejections in search for Salah replacement: Kvaratskhelia and other targets unavailable for transfer
Liverpool has hit a major roadblock in the transfer market as they search for a replacement for Mohamed Salah. The Merseysiders have already faced rejection from several key targets, including PSG star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
According to Team Talk, Liverpool, along with Arsenal and Chelsea, approached the winger’s representatives to inquire about his availability. However, the Parisian club has taken a firm stance: Kvaratskhelia is simply not for sale under any circumstances.
Kvaratskhelia isn’t the only collapsed target for the Reds. The club has also been turned down in their pursuit of Michael Olise from Bayern, as well as Désiré Doué and Bradley Barcola.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool’s shortlist still features at least seven more wingers. Moreover, the club is even considering bringing in two players for this position.
