Trent Alexander-Arnold is leaving Liverpool at the end of this season, and it seems Frimpong is set to fill his shoes. But that's not the only change on the horizon—the club is actively searching for fresh talent.

Details: According to Florian Plettenberg, the Merseysiders are closely monitoring Bournemouth’s left-back Milos Kerkez. Liverpool is already in contact with the Cherries’ management.

If a deal for Kerkez falls through, 19-year-old Jorrel Hato from Ajax is considered a strong alternative and is also on the Reds’ radar.

Earlier reports indicated that all the details of Frimpong’s transfer have already been agreed upon—both between the clubs and with the player himself. Liverpool will pay €40 million for the 23-year-old defender, who will sign a five-year contract.

Reminder: Liverpool’s head coach previously stated that it’s time to draw a line under Trent’s performances and move forward.
