Liverpool is not going to let their goalkeeper go to Saudi Arabia
Liverpool has no intention of letting their primary goalkeeper, Alisson, leave this summer.
According to Fabrizio Romano, despite interest from Saudi Arabian clubs, Liverpool is planning for next season with the expectation that Alisson will remain with the team. Currently, the Reds are not entertaining offers for their goalkeeper.
Alisson himself is not expected to push for a departure. He is prepared for a new challenge under the leadership of Arne Slot.
Previously, it was reported that Al-Nassr, the club where Cristiano Ronaldo plays, was interested in acquiring Alisson.
Alisson's current contract with Liverpool runs until the summer of 2027.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper has been with Liverpool since the summer of 2018, during which time he has played 263 matches for the club.
